Like a dumb a_s I went 1-1/2 years without Adobe Reader because I wanted to up date Adobe Reader from Adobe Reader 6, Nothing but trouble since. Why couldn’t you geeks just tell me a VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION? Maybe you all just do not know enough, so stick to your forums. I thought too, my only solution is a new computer - just to be able to read PDF files. HA! Ha! ( My wife thinks I’m crazy because I Hear Voices, I think I’am blessed ) HEY DUMM AS_! the voice says, Go to Google and instead of typing in “ADOBE READER ERROR” - type in “PDF READER”. Guess what? Adobe Reader is not the only PDF Reader on the Strip! You do have a choice.
My Choice - FOXIT Reader - and I got a free download from Download.com and now after 1-1/2 years of being subjected to ignorance I now can read those stacked up PDF files that I have collected. And listen, I read a review that said the links are not clickable in Foxit Reader, Well they are in my new version…
And just one more thing, When downloading be sure to click the Make Foxit ( Or your choice of another Reader ) as DEFAULT reader. . . . Kiss adobe error Good-By, at least until you get a new PC.! Authentic looking from PayPal, the first clue was that it was addressed to an e-mail that wasn’t associated with my paypal account. The second clue was the greeting “Dear Customer.”
Look for a PayPal Greeting:
PayPal will never send an email with the greeting “Dear PayPal User” or “Dear PayPal Member.” Real PayPal emails will address you by your first and last name or the business name associated with your PayPal account.
Don’t share personal information via email: PayPal will never ask you to enter your password or financial information in an email or send such information in an email. You should only share information about your account once you have logged in to (https://www.paypal.com/.) Type this into your broswer.
Don’t download attachments: PayPal will never send you an attachment or software update to install on your computer.
